The SCAD Gallery: LeCorbusier Typeface

Le Corbusier was a famous French designer from the 20th century who was one of "The Big Three" architects to promote The International Style of Modernism.

My typeface, titled "Corbu," was inspired by his preference for straight lines, rectilinear shapes, and axonometric drawings.

"To create architecture is to put in order" - Le Corbusier

I conceptualized this typeface as display text that would hypothetically be used for museum exhibitions and environmental graphics

A typeface design inspired by the famous French architect, Le Corbusier. I envision this typeface being used primarily for display graphics.
